Manchester City Centre are taking a different approach in their Movement Day process. They have started their process with a Movement Day Conversation. 30 leaders came together for one day in the National Museum of Football to start thinking through what the city could look like if the different spheres were more strategic and more coordinated.
The day was spent thinking through the geographical areas of the city centre, mapping out where the churches are working, then thinking through the spheres of city life and what connections the churches have in those networks. These excercises really helped the leaders start to see opportunities for strategic relationships and understanding where the greatest areas of need in the city centre are.
It was a great start to the process and we're praying for 70 leaders in the next Conversation which will be held in June.
